Thanks for including this section here. I am so thankful that I was raised in the church with strong Christian beliefs. There are times when God is the only place that I can turn. When my troubles are weighing me down and I just cannot seem to handle them alone, I am so comforted to be able to go to God in prayer and lift up my troubles to Him. There is a peace that surrounds me knowing that He can take my problems and help me to sort through them. The Bible is full of stories and passages that help me through different parts of my life. I also feel that it is very important, especially in today's world, to raise our children in the church. That way, I have a community of Christian family that helps me to steer my children onto the right path. I have always heard the saying that it takes a village to raise a child. The church is my village. In the past several months I just don't know what I would have done without my church family helping me through some hard times. The church is a place of reassurance and faith renewal. I need that each week just to help me keep the right attitude and keep me strong.
