Not many people know about this, but pomegranate peels are very effective to treat diarrhea. My mother has used it many times, even on a kitten that was very sick - he was cured a few days later.
What you do is you take pomegranate peels (fresh or dried), place them in a cup or in a teapot, and add some boiling hot water. Let it cool off and then drink the water 3 or more times a day.
