We grilled salmon, pork chops, and corn for dinner tonight. We'll grill hamburgers tomorrow night at the lake.

That is the way we cook almost every dinner in the warm months. BBQ--- on the grill- and we make almost the whole meal out there.

I can't wait for the fresh veggies to be ready in the garden- nothing better than zucchini on the grill.

I think we are having boneless chicken, corn and a salad for dinner

Blue Eyes is the "grillmaster" at our house. Whatever he puts on the grill turns out irresistibly delicious!! He makes delicious bbq hamburgers, great bratwurst and finger-licking good wings and drummettes. And his vegetable specialties are grungy grilled potatoes and corn on the cob--yummy!! We also love his grilled pineapple!!

The drummettes are what they call the "peg legs". They are just little small chicken legs. Grungy grilled potatoes are wonderful!! My boss there in West TN made them for us all the time!! You cut up potatoes into round wedges, then sprinkle salt and pepper on them. Then cook them in butter in a pan on the grill. We have started cutting up some onion with the potatoes and the flavor is so yummy! I also sometimes add a little garlic powder to them, just to spice them up a little. Just be sure to keep a spatula handy and turn them often. Keep them moist with butter.
