Default Green Tips For Killing Mold

1. Mix one tablespoon of eucalyptus oil, one tablespoon of methylated spirits, and two cups of water and pour in a spray bottle. Apply and leave to dry.

2. Mix 20 drops of grapefruit (or citrus) seed extract with 2 cups of water and pour in a spray bottle. Apply and leave to dry.

3. Mix 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water and pour in a spray bottle. Apply and leave to dry.

4. Pour 1 part vinegar and 1 part warm water into a bowl, then add 2 parts baking soda to make a thick paste. Apply and leave to dry, then scrub off. Repeat if the mold is particularly stubborn.

5. Mix 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil mixed with 2 cups of water. Pour mixture into a spray bottle and mix well. Apply and leave to dry.

Tip: It's a good idea to spot test first to prevent discoloration.

Great tips- I use bleach now-- and I hate to. I am going to whip up the baking soda one the next time- I get mold on the windows from time to time in the closest.

I get mold in the bathroom sometimes, and I use Clorox Cleanup. It's got a lot of bleach in it which kills the mold, but the fumes are toxic. I'm going to use healthier methods from now on.
